GO FISH

GO FISH

looked into
my eyes
said you loved me
but you lied
couldn't
breathe
had to flee
begged me
to stay
promises of
change
don't wanna be on
your runaawy train
jumping
track
not turnin
back
don't follow
me
hollowed out
can't cha see
with my feelings
you trifled
your love
like a rifle
held me
hostage
touch was
caustic
poisonous
toxic
kisses
muted
numbed
and polluted
called me
ugly
said prettier fish
in the sea
arms imprisoned
had to break free
handcuffs
i slipped
out i
skipped
couldn't
survive
soul nearly
died
those things
said
no longer
in my head
made a
new bed
peaceful lying
in it
rather be
alone
then picked
to the bone
won't be
caged
turned the
page
no more
babbling brook
freedom on
the hook
ya sent
a request
to see me
was your last wish
could only
suggest
you go fish
