Bolton Wanderers win FA Cup!

entry picture

Well, they did in 1923, and will continue to do so every night until 10th April, at Bolton’s Octagon Theatre.

It’s all thanks to those friends of Write Out Loud, playwrights Les Smith and Martin Thomason, whose award-winning play And Did Those Feet, returns to the Octagon for another dazzling, end-to-end run.

What’s the final score? See Julian’s review for the post-match report: http://www.writeoutloud.net/public/blogentry.php?blogentryid=9345

Match sponsor is Bolton University, creative partners of both the Octagon and Write Out Loud. Coach Mark Babych also directed when it won best new play at the Manchester Evening News Theatre awards in 2007 and returns to Bolton for this run.

Is this a suitable news item for a poetry website? It is for a writers’ website and, as well as all those involved in live-literature, we support our friends and sponsors.
