Tale of tiny wings

That little bird,

With her tiny wings,

dreams to fly and touch the sky.

She saw her siblings flying,

and so her neighbors,

and so everyone.

She too tried,

flapping her wings,

jumping from the nest.

She fell down,

her wings were not strong enough,

unlike her aspirations.

She injured her body,

and she waited to be physically strong

 like her dreams.

She tried again and again,

in the sky of predators and friends,

out of her comfort zone.

Every injury showed her the real world,

but her dreams were the fuel,

to try again and again.

Many fine days later,

While she was trying again,

considering the lessons of her failure.

Her wings flapped miraculously,

and she too flew high,

her failures were her mentor.

And today she touched the sky,

she knew not only how to fly high,

but also how to defend herself from predators.
