End of August deadline for Ireland's €1,000 Westport poetry competition

There’s a first prize of €1,000 for the winner of this year’s Westport poetry competition, part of Westival music and arts festival in Ireland. The entry fee is €15 for up to three poems, and the deadline is August 30. Shortlisted entrants will be notified in late September and invited to attend the open reading at the festival to present their poems before the prizewinners are announced on 25 October.
