"Look at that floor!"

Come in to the kitchen she said with a strong voice

"look at that floor!"

what is wrong I asked?

Its filthy she screamed,

sensationally I replied

"Look at that floor!"

get a broom and make this house into a home

fearing my life I did as she said

later, she called me into the lounge

and with a strong voice

"look at that floor!"

what is wrong I asked?

suckering suckatatz! its unholy and unhomely,

to which I sensationally replied

"look at that floor!"

Richard,

The poem you created it's interesting. Just to write something out of a comment...That's very clever! It brought a smile on my face reading this...Zuzanna

your welcome! its come out of a joke between mates, he worked at a casi and the cleaner would walk around saying "look at that floor" in a high pitched, irish accent!

Hello Richard,

Such life. You have expressed life as it happens.
Floor can get that way at times. It is strong commanding poem.

"fearing my life I did as she said
later, she called me into the lounge
and with a strong voice
"look at that floor!"
what is wrong I asked?
suckering suckatatz! its unholy and unhomely,
to which I sensationally replied
"look at that floor!"

Interesting twist in the conversation.
Thank you...Zuzanna
