IN THE MOURNING

IN THE MOURNING

grief
and pain
one in
same
overwhelming
crushes
in waves
it rushes
knocked
off feet
left
empty
can't
concentrate
thoughts of
destiny...fate
asking
why
in between
cries
try to move
forward
don't wanna
face tomorrow
carry the
weight
unspoken words
too late
grateful
fulfilled
yet sadder
still
pacing
caged
in enters
rage
aching
heart
missing
parts
questions
deep
philosophy
potential
light
dark as
night
forlorn
energy
transformed
in the mourning
comes the shing
cloud bursts
silver linings
life cycle
complete
such beauty
in pain
and grief
