NOT GONNA FOLD

NOT GONNA FOLD

up...up...up
trampoline
can't feel
my feet
under me
defying laws
of gravity
rose colored
glass
got me
kickin ass
don't look
before i leap
think before
i speak
gonna do what
i please
no ceiling
or floors
that's what walls
are for
if ignorance
is bliss
i'm giddy
with it
yes i
might slip
don't give
a flip
rather rely
on tarot cards
than not follow
my heart
have
less
than a
full deck
still place
bets
only dealt
one hand
play it
when i can
truth
or dare
more fun
than solitaire
don't have
a spade
Jill of
all trades
queen of none
don't wanna
feel caged
may burn
bridges
jump
nonetheless
put every egg
in one basket
blow it like
a leaky gasket
don't need
a jewel lined casket
have my
say
do life my
way
eyes can
roll
not gonna
fold

Hello Cindylee - I liked your poem because it works, it's got a lot of -life- in it. But ? I don't agree with its content. I've learnt over the years that doing things -my- way is a dead end.
Go well
