Chemicals

Maybe one day I'll be more than a concrete bed
With my skin peeled back all there is now is muscle
You didn't want this kind of missed handled case
The knife doesn't push deep enough anymore
All the money in the world but the sadness remains
I didn't ask for this imbalance chemicals in my head
I sure and he'll have to deal with it

I had to read this piece a number of times to let the words sink in which for me makes it all the richer for doing so. A thoughtful and provoking piece. Thanks for posting Damon
