Note with Note

entry picture

Thus

sacred history transpired

Once upon a time, ages ago

The jolly whistling humming tune-bird

flew over to the hastily scribbled timid note-bud.

He fluttered around her in circles and chirped and wooed her! He sung

a crimson ribbon to life and tied it around her neck and cooed and purred!

And Her, the little blue note kissed the sound with her indigo-blue, ink-drenched

lips and wore her bonny ribbon with pride and grinned! And then- in the blink of

an eye thunder and lightning broke!  Note with note merged into one art,

one piece of parchment, one feisty, unanimous panhuman tongue.

And the tongue spake loudly and said: "Let it be known,

who does not know the figures of letters,

who will not fathom written words,

The children, the busy, the blind

shall hear them be sung

and know

all !
