Luke Wright named in three categories in Saboteur awards shortlists

Leading spoken word performer Luke Wright has made the Saboteur awards shortlists in three categories, it has been announced after the first round of voting. Luke is shortlisted for best spoken word performer, best spoken word show (Poet Laureate), and best poetry pamphlet (After Engine Trouble).

Others shortlisted for best spoken word performer are Scarlett Ward, Jamie Thrasivoulou,, and Bróccán Tyzack-Carlin. The shortlist for best spoken word night is Word Wise in Derby; Punk in Drublic, Manchester; Flash Fiction Armagh, Armagh; and Raise the Bar, Bristol.

Last year’s Saboteur Reviewer of the Year, Jade Cuttle, a contributing editor to Write Out Loud, has again made the reviewer shortlist. Voting for the winners is now open until 12 May. Details of all the shortlists are here, and how to vote for the winners here
