In Between The Raindrops

In-between raindrops,

I listen for your voice.

In-between raindrops,

I almost smell your sweet prefume.

In-between raindrops,

I miss your face, your eyes,

the gentle touch of your sighs.

In-between raindrops

I wipe the tears from my eyes.

In-between raindrops,

I kneel and crawl and shake.

In-between raindrops,

your life was not His to take.

In-between raindrops,

I follow.

I think the best thing about this is that it does leave the reader wondering what it means to the author.
It works for me on more than one level.

Nice one.

I'm guessing this is the anger/grief felt after the death of a loved one. Unless you are being ironic and the He refers to a new lover that has taken away someone you love. A good one Kenny cos it leaves you wondering. x

I kind of like this one mate, though it feels a little 'uneasy'? to me. Not sure why though? hmmm... x

I am not sure as to the ultimate meaning of this poem, but it is a thoughtfull and gentle poem nevertheless. Is he God?TC
