Vertigo

Vertigo

Hanging of the edge of the world,

If I fall I’ll be eternally hurt.

Don’t look down,

Don’t look up.

My feet in thick blackness,

Blinded by the sunless sand

Time to pull myself up.

There’s nothing here,

It’s the edge of the world,

Nothing to see,

It’s the edge of the world.

I can feel a force trying to pull me down,

The magnetic pull,

The inner ground.

If I let go,

You’ll see me no more.

An eternal fall thru the earths trapdoor.

Richard~ The poem is really creative and fascinating! Thought provoking too. You mention in your title the VERTIGO' from medical point of view that is a serious medical problem...Thank you for sharing.
