Loosen your Muse

entry picture

Loose Muse is London’s only regular event for women writers of all genres. That doesn’t mean though that men aren’t welcome to come and listen, they most certainly are!

Hosted by Dzifa Benson and Sara-Mae Tuson, there will be two featured guests at the next meeting on Wednesday, 10th March, each followed by a Q&A session, and an open-mic session.

Firstly, Catherine Brogan – who you may remember hitch-hiked her way around the country last year, using poetry venues as her stopping off points. Originally from Belfast, Catherine is now back in London, where she has been wowing audiences with her fast-paced rhymes since 2008.

And following Catherine will be Zena Edwards, a poet and performer who uses song, movement, and global influences as a jump-off point for her words, and has been described as a poet you have to see at least once in your life.

The evening starts at 8pm, and is held at the Poetry Café, 22 Betterton Street, London WC2 (nearest tube station is Covent Garden). Entrance costs £5 or £3 for concessions.
