subversive

I wanted to dare you--

I wanted to say, "make something

beautiful," from this

formless mass of matter

we've created--instead

I held my breath.

One two three building
blocks placed neatly

With no order imposed
I can never predict where
my belongings will go

While continual rearrangement
creates new facets where
they were once nonexistent

We seem busy deconstructing.

Well you certainly have made something beautiful from these words.
Very nicely constructed and eloquent as usual
Nice one Rachel

Hi Ray,

It's good to pop in every once in a while--currently, I'm a lone American in Istanbul and have a strong craving for just about anything familiar. It's very easy to fade into the background in such a busy place as this but, at least for the moment, I'm going to create a bit of noise.

An intriguing an original look at synthesis and analysis Rachel. It's great to see your delicate and insinuating style here !

Thanks, David and Kate--we are all transients.
