entry picture

The Tea Box in Richmond, Surrey, is hosting an open-mic Poetry Jam On Friday, 12th February, where new voices can perform alongside established performance poets.

Poets-in-residence – Julie Mullen and Racker Donnelly, will be performing together. Julie Mullen was nominated for the Ted Hughes Award for ‘Erotic Poetry for Vegans and Vegetarians’, whilst Racker Donnelly was the U.K.s Slam Champion 2005/06.

Not only that but you can enjoy the Poetry Jam with your choice of the sixty different teas available at The Tea Box, and with no admission charge, you could say that’s –

Tea! – a drink with jam – no bread!

The evening starts at 7.30pm, and you can find The Tea Box at 7 Paradise Road, Richmond TW9 1RX
