Finding Your Voice  presents  STAND AND DELIVER

Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th April 2008

This weekend workshop has been developed for songwriters and singers of all abilities. Whether you're a seasoned professional or an absolute beginner you'll find your creative confidence and performance skills boosted by these two days in a friendly, supportive environment.

Sessions will cover finding your voice, avoiding writers' block and stage fright, achieving quality through quantity and specific ways of focussing your goals in order to achieve them. There'll be tips on beating the demons of self doubt and surviving the shark-infested waters of the music business. Above all we'll help you stand and deliver on stage - and on the page - in your own authentic voice.

The weekend runs from the Saturday morning to late Sunday afternoon and is hosted by songwriter TOM ROBINSON, life coach NICHOLAS HULL-MALHAM and administrator SUE BREARLEY at a secluded Jacobean manor house in the heart of the Kent countryside. Key to the success of these courses is the shared environment: the unique communal atmosphere created by participants and facilitators working, playing and eating together.

On the Saturday night there'll be a performance masterclass followed by a singsong and jam session. The weekend builds towards a concert at the end of Sunday afternoon, when participants hone their new-found skills showcasing their talents while the rest of the group form a warm and appreciative audience.

The fee of £250 includes drinks with dinner on Saturday and all meals from morning coffee on arrival to afternoon tea on Sunday. The food is delicious, home-cooked and largely organic; with milk, eggs and vegetables produced on the Commonwork farm. Accommodation for twenty participants is in spacious twin rooms in Bore Place house.

Early booking is recommended for this popular course.  Just return the booking form with a deposit of £50. The balance is due by 4th April 2008: if you cancel your booking after this date we reserve the right to charge the full fee of £250.

Please  email us at creative@tomrobinson.com for a booking form and/or if  there is anything else you need to know before booking.
