Found Poetry

I found some poetry the other day

But it didn’t belong to me

The words didn’t speak my way.

Some of the words belonged to Kellogg’s

And some belonged to Nestle

We live in a corporate world

Which leaves real people nothing to say.

These words had no reason

Or rhyme

So I decided to erase them

 From my mind.
