Light

Light is the sun
that shines so bright;
light is the moon
that glows at night.

Jesus is light
and gives us hope, 
for peaceful life
so we might cope. 

Light is diamonds, 
mesmerising;
light is the stars, 
sparkle shining. 

Light is sure safe, 
light is pure calm;
and God the light
shields us from harm. 

But don't despair 
a flameless light;
for all candles 
can reignite. 

For all torches 
can shine once more; 
guide you through new 
paths to explore. 

Searching beacons 
save sinking ships;
when sailors brave
courageous trips. 

Light is a gift
to ev'ryone;
cherish it now
before it's gone.
