Womb Words

Womb Words

I talk to you in gentle tones,

I can feel you move and like You,

I’m surrounded by an ambience –

A four AM bedroom full of twilight,

And the urge to scream your name

Becomes unbearable in my joy,

My every nerve -

Intoxicate by love,

And this wish to wake the world

To tell them your existence

Brings catharsis to a point,

And yet, I have time still;

to wait,

But if I could, if I could,

I would travel my spirit to

The waters - cradling your being

And the beating of your heart,

And following God’s guidance,

Hold you in my arms.

            If for just one night,

I could travel - be

Light upon your side while

            He lies sleeping,

I would be in worlds with you,

Gazing gentle as your guardian,

Smiling gracefully my life that

I would part to save you from harm,

And as your Mom,

Greet you with a kiss upon your forehead,

A kiss that seems so very near,

but far.

This takes my breathe away Mike!
So incredibly beautiful...

'But if I could, if I could,
I would travel my spirit to
The waters - cradling your being
And the beating of your heart,
And following God’s guidance,
Hold you in my arms.'
