What am I gonna write about?

Come on, my mind, come forth

Give me something worthwhile

Of which I see some worth

 

Shit. Excuse expletive

Your worth was unexpected

Your worths are often playful

But this one's well directed

 

You say that I should write about

The pain and strife in life

I hoped for something pain-free

A little light relief

 

Now reader if I don't obey

Occasionally, my mind

It goes and tells my neurons

Attack, do not be kind

 

You ever had the same as me

A neuron pack-attack?

I do not recommend it

Your mind feels in a rack

 

OK, pain and strife you want?

I'm hurting deep inside

They say I shouldn't go cry

My tears outside, but hide

 

I've had enough of pain and strife

My mind, let's go and play

It's me who holds the keys here

And has our final say
