Relationship Decay

 

Preamble

My inner demons caused a trainwreck.  Recovery is underway.

 

I feel I'm sort of different

Different from the rest

I have these inner demons

Simmering in my chest

 

My problem is not demons

As you might rightly say

It's controlling them, preventing

Relationship decay

 

One feels safe exposing

To ones chosen friends

Why? They understand me

They understand my 'bends'

 

You'll notice that I'm playing

With rhyme/emotion mix

As well as giving myself

A po-e-tary fix
