Coffin haiku
The night was spooky
Graveyard was very noisy
'Cos of the coffin
A bloody good haiku
"Mum what's a vampire?"
"Drink your soup before it clots."
"It's bloody good mum."
Witch haiku
Witch was not happy
Her son's report was crappy
"Broom for improvement !"
New to haiku,any errors made call it a hughku.

Fixed themselves up in a shot
So now they can all truly say
True characteristics of haikus we all got
If one's playin' round with us haikus
You gotta come play by our rules
It's 5/7/5 syllable line count
A basic we teach at our school
What's that ? You've not heard of our Haik School ?
Founded by Japanese of yore
They took off in search of greener pastures
And landed on WOL's distant shore
So where am I going with this one?
To be honest I haven't a clue
But I think the Haik School it is giving
An idea or two to our Hugh
(No offence intended Hugh -it's just the way my silly mind works) ?
New to haiku
Made a hughku
Haiku's are quite interesting
Line syllable counts they've got
But if this count is incorrect
A haiku it is not ?
