Northern Rain

Northern Rain

Northern rain

Northern winds

Northern niceness, special things

Northern me Northern you,

Now you’ve gone south, what shall we do?

Southern this

Southern that

Southern coldness

Southern breeze, tall and naked Southern trees

Now they have, lost all their leaves,

Looking ghostly in Southern night, so you go east, with Southern fright.

East side down in every City

East sides needing, what a pity

Pity, wanting, sorrow and strife, so now you’ve seen east isn’t so nice

You’ll travel West to see, what’s best.

West end up, maybe not,

Which way now

You’ve tried the lot.

Its back home to Northern rain

Don’t think,

I’ll ever leave again.
