Nameless

She claimed to be nameless

A void empty space

She thought she could be invisible

A child of darkness

But oh

How she was wrong

She is an arrangement of

Color and laughter

Beauty and light

She thinks she is as fragile

As a baby’s wrist

But to me she is stronger than steel

She hesitates when

She sees her reflection

As if she found a

New flaw to add

To her list of

Imperfections

But I stare at her

Unblinking transfixed

At the sight of her

Golden dark eyes and

Her glowing soft smile

She is a spire

Reaching for the

Highest stars

Her skin engulfed

By the sky

If she could only

See that her whole

Existence perpetuates

My life

A single second with her

Is my entire life

She claimed to be

Nameless

A void empty space

She thought she could

Be invisible

A child of darkness

But oh

How she was wrong.
