Space Cowboy 9 Proxy Opus

The hollow is biting back
With roses burning out your ears
That porch step is gone now
We're seeing your true colors

It's heavy with the vultures around you
We said it back then prove us that were wrong
The casualties in your mind will be many
But the Violet cannot win

Don't disappear into the unknown
You were from Mr. Depression to a Space Cowboy
Deep down he was always there
Leading you to your demise

So live your life like water
Your demons know how to swim
They're better than the fish you own
You're all out of razor blades there's no getting away now

Put the lavender in your pocket and pray for an exit
We thought you were the happiest kid
Now we're seeing your true colors
They're burning like a lighter in the Sun

Some of the lines here are actually references to my first poem. and thank you both so much. I also think this poem makes no sense if you've never read one of my poems. mentally my characters are a part of me but also their their own characters now.

some terrific lines here brimming with imagination - I particularly like the last and the water/demons lines. Cheers Damon. Col.
