Hold on tight, it’s a rocky ride

All aboard the rollercoaster
strap yourselves in and begin the ride.

Hold firm and think of those,
who try to listen and speak
without prejudice.

It is something of which they can be proud.

They do not hide behind a fake smile
or an ignorant grin
but are open, honest and vulnerable, too.

Attempting to ward off the shallow words
flung back at them in a attempt
to curtail and silence.

The ride is wild and dangerous,
but when the finish is attained
they can stand tall, and then recommence.

I love this! A poetic message to be remembered.
