Gray, gray,

A gray, blue, day.

It shines in my mind like a star.

It rains and rains all day and night 

Just like how I feel at the moment.

Take a look at the world around you.   

What does it look like? 

School shootings,

Hungry children,

War and fighting,

Day after day

After day after day.

What I see is awful.

I watch in silence.

I read the views of other people,

I am but a voice in the background.

I want to make a change to this,

But how can I when I am a nobody?

I try and I fail day after day 

After day after day.

Try.

Fail. 

A constant pattern.

A reminder that I am no one.

My world is gray.

Gray and blue.

Blue and gray. 

I hear the cries of starving children,

Terrified screams of victims.

The dark laughter of evil geniuses.

Or maybe that last on is on the TV. 

Who knows, 

The way the world is today. 

Who knows what is real or not?
