I'm Standing at Your Entrance

Knocking at the door

Waiting for acceptance

Waiting to give more

I come from Land Downunder

Spike Milligan (all that)

Slightly maddish (rhymes with radish...?)

Holding rhyming hat

I am a little nervous

Feeling with my feet

Around this site (my first time)

Not knowing who I'll meet

Brian Maryon I like

He rhymes with style, panache

We share the same desire for

Creating verse (no cash)

Now while I'm on the subject

(Of knocking at the door)

'Twas Brian who gave advice

(That helped me through the door)

There's too much gloom and darkness

Enshrouding round our life

We need some fun and laughter

To push away the strife

I'm getting philosophical

Don, get back on track

What upcoming verses

Will help us all up-crack ?

OK

You wanna have a giggle ?

You wanna have a laugh ?

You'll have to wait till I post

My 'Uproot Tree/Giraffe'

(What have we imported here ?? ...)

An excellent world and view of individuals today Hazel - little of substance - plenty of custard and jelly. I hope you don't charge a fee for inclusion in my poems...Brian thinks he could set a trend..I won't let him get away with it ..?

Welcome. The only poem I ever learned by heart was Spike -
There was a young lady called Nelly
Who had a nylon belly
The skin was so thin
We could all see in
It was full of custard and jelly.
I thought this an excellentvworld view.

I'm working on a plan here. The door has been officially opened for me. You have give me the unofficial OK to crack on.

From what I'm picking up people look at the blog site to see what's traveling past. "Hey that Downunder guy looks interesting. Must keep an eye out" My Wanna have a giggle/uproottree/giraffe will go past. Watch for it Spike Milliganish (also bipolar)

Brian - interaction between like minds is to me the highest form of intellectual pursuit. I thrive on it. We seem to think alike. Why weave people into my poems ? Why not ? We're all connected and have stories which need telling

BTW - can't think of anything clever here ?

Don - you don't need any formal acceptance...just crack on and post.

Don - This is the first time I've actually been given a name check in a poem...I'm honoured.

BTW - there's no fee charged on the first occasion.
