Do not hero worship me you said, 

Why aren't you nearer, 

She was the safe option, 

The rock on the shore, 

The anchor to your boat, 

Not the sea, 

Not the sea like me, 

I have another, 

In my dreams he lives,

Or my pen, 

I long for a simple life,
