Nice people struggle

Nice and good people

have to struggle more

they remain under stress

but keep a smile on the face

 

I saw her in the crowd

with laughter so loud

it raised a question in the mind

so I tried to find out

 

there was no difficulty

as I tried to find nearly all the facts

it was astonishing to note

how a brave woman can never be caught!

 

I knew it was her intention

never to make personal mention 

but do the social job 

and never sob

 

it pleased my ears

and removed the fears 

it was always her 

and I decided not to bother

 

some people are ready

to sacrifice their comforts 

for others still, show no worry

and silently carry

 

they may cry from inside

but always decide

it to confine within

and take care that nothing is seen outside
