Poets

Outside the sun is bright

But my heart feels gloomy inside

However, books are in my mind

And not any kind of books

Poetry ones

Those that talk about

love and romance

And....

deceptive love,

abandoned love,

heartbreak love

those kinds

And there they are

standing on the shelves

From Ana Castillo,

to the great Robert Frost,

and one titled "We got caught Kissing" from a female poet's name that doesn't come to mind

To my misfortune none of these poets mentioned my feeling right now

The feeling of mistrust

Mistrust of a man's companionship

And not just any man

but that one you open you're heart to

because you noticed he did to

At the end it doesnt matter

if the companionship is near

since it now feels far away

To my misfortune

all I will get

is the feeling of a deceptive

and abandoned love

to a non existing companionship

that will now be forgotten to bring back the brightness

A lot of emotion behind this, but an even better take on the subject. Well done.
