Purr and coo.

They kiss and snicker.

They lick, they lap.

They bite and snap.

They kick like hell

For the best position

Of their exposition

In the thought

On the line

Of your erudition.

Your brain!

Machine of inflection

A petition for grace

A plea for value.

Loving – lyrical -

Damaging – dangerous -

They scorn

And score

And scour.

They are POWER!

Use them wisely.

A clever rhythmic and powerful play on words, summed up in one word,"Excellent."Read and rap to a Write Out Loud crowd,it would be a wordific [new word] experience.

I like the "word"-play in this! (excuse the pun). It is punchy feels fun in the mouth to read. Thank you for this!

Sorry Cynthia, there is no reason you should know what the F-Bomb is, I am bombarded often by such terms, my boy is 19, that said I am sure the term has now been superseded by some other.

It is the habit of littering your communications with the F-word, something rappers are prone to do. I think it would be most excellent to hear you recite this live, dropping some F-bombs in the text, rather proving your well conveyed point.

David, what's an 'F' bomb? Other than 'a fucking bomb', of course, which may not be your intention at all? Just want to be sure. I always enjoy your contributions. It's really great to think of instant 'connection' so far apart.

Drop some F-Bombs Cynthia.

Indeed words are power, used with precision they hit targets used carelessly they cause collateral damage.

I read through the list of uses and unfortunately in some cases I have been indulgently guilty.

A great poem because its true,

One last addition from the period of March madness, 2018.

I nearly fell over laughing when I realized the lines read like a 'rap'. And I didn't consciously appreciate that until I was reciting it aloud. And then I had a great time! One day I might even memorize it, for performance. But I'd probably mess it up.
