wordPLAY on Twisted Christmas

entry picture

The time has come for the last wordPLAY of the year, and you can expect the usual laid-back, all-welcoming atmosphere and general jollity of the wordPLAY audience.

‘Twisted Christmas’ is the loose theme on Tuesday, December 1st at 7pm at The Good Ship in Kilburn; and the evening will be in aid of Plan International’s ‘Write Me Down’ campaign for birth certificates.

Every year millions of children worldwide are not registered at birth. A birth certificate helps to protect a child by giving them access to education, healthcare, and more. Plan International is endeavoring to ensure more children receive birth certificates, thereby giving them easier access to education and healthcare, some protection against child labour and marriage, and some defence against abuse and child trafficking.

December’s featured writer will be Welsh wonder " Mab Jones, who will be joined by special guests Pia Hansen, Steven Sanderson, Jack Stannard, and Alexander Thanni; whilst music will be provided by singer-songwriter Susannah Pearse

Doors will open at 7pm, for an 8pm start, and entry is £4.50 or £3.50 concessions.
