Fantasy

Shadow of the sun

is peeping through the window

sending Caribbean heat to my feet

waves splash calling out

to invest in the no judgement zone

it’s my friend with no voice

only a splash of child's play to my face

the wind carries me

as a woman should be cared for, and handled gently

the palm trees bend to converse with me

sharing growth of coconuts with me

secrets of

keeping the melon in me so beautifully, it's way of complimenting me

positive energy, I can breathe and feel

the sand is very welcoming

falling between my toes

catching the islands surrounding me

pulling my toes into a coconut shape

we are one

loose sand

finds its way to the top of my feet

producing a scrub

detoxing any negativity

why is this a fantasy

I know, I can’t breathe or feel, this in the world we live in

palm trees aren't like me but, wanted to compliment me

that’s not happening in today's society

distaste and jealousy

shortage of the good stuff

Savage, like it’s the last day on earth

I have to be the first

It was a fantasy hoping this could be reality

A lovely poem. I particularly like the description of the sand pulling toes in to a coconut shape
Nice one
