Best Idea

the idea of you is

enough to get me started

I imagine you

with the desires of an artist

I put you in a natural setting

I pencil myself in

tear you up and redraw your body

in various positions

dreams come true

after so much work is put in

the world is cruel

full of untalented critics

beauty in the eye of the beholder

maybe you’re my best work

it may take  ages for the world to discover

what the painter saw first

◄ Now is all we have

future ghosts ►
