PEI

As the water erodes the red, rocky coast line
Unto a sea of blood, forming sultry serpent
As it creeps slowly out as heart loses repent
To flush ghastly spirit out of this land's own spline

Bury new found treasure to come find it again
As the journey is long but worthwhile adventure
In iron precipice of the great white's texture
To chase away the pain, even with smiling pen

Remember to carve map for this side of country
As memories will last to shape the foundation
For the blistery pull of leaving dotation

Heart will linger longer for the return bounty
That island paradise in this nation's back door
A short drive not too far to relive this red floor.
