Come what may

Come what may

I'm still okay

Although you are too afraid of what might be

There's still something about your eyes

That makes me wonder what you hide inside

I should be angrier

And yet I'm only vaguely annoyed

Perhaps I'm finally learning control

Or I could just be numb

I won't wait

Not because you advise against it

But because life is too short for waiting

For what may never happen

And people who may never step up

I know you are capable of so much more

If only you would embrace growth

But you continue to hide behind toed lines

So Come what may

I'm still okay

first and last two lines are very effective and sandwich the poem nicely.

Beautiful Wardah and a fitting sequel to your earlier poem.
Look like your calling the shots now.
I like the assertive tone.
Game on!

Raj
