As I choose to say no to this wonderful guy
I reminisce the past, all the low and the high
And the hurt he gave me while flying in to lie
Insurmountable pain, all I can do is sigh

The butterflies were real when I was his lover
His soul was good and kind, he mesmerized my heart
Into loving beliefs of relationship part
But reality hit when he said he loved her

The point of no return was sacrificed for love
I felt vulnerable, I gave him all of me
To satisfy passion with reciprocal fee

The relationship done, he wants to rise above
Without destroying hope or her young eggs to grow
The future is still bleak but for now it's a no!
