AUNT NORA

Aunt Nora suddenly last week

got her picture in the Yorkshire Post,

met up with a fella

who took her for a ride

in his vintage Rolls

a Silver Ghost.

Like Bonnie and Clyde

they took that ride

Nora in the back

with her top right down

as they slowly drove

through a Yorkshire town.

A misunderstanding about the tonneau

caused Lady Godiva

to compromise the driver

which caused quite a stir

'twixt him and her;

unsurprisingly their venture miscarried

as this particular gentleman was married.

Thanks Col and Suki. Yes, Bennett at large. I'll try this live next week and try not to laugh myself! I'm a giggler .

laughing here too Ray - Nora sounds completely Batty and who else but Bennett to do the voice-over. A class act all round. Thanks for posting this gem. Col.

Ha! Ha! Was that your impression of Alan Bennett?
Whatever, it made me laugh.

Cheers Ray!
