At first nothing

Then everything

All at once,

Like the world bursting into summer

A horse galloping across an open field

freedom

The sweetest nectar ever tasted

Lost inside

The kindest eyes

Wondering where we had been in eachothers lives

Life

It had began

Different yet the same

Passionate and alive

Exciting and surprising

Enexpectedly, infectedly in love

Then sadly separated for a little too long

Whats the point?

Daydreams and moonwishing

that all that caused the separation would quickly be resolved

alas, it seemed to get heavier and heavier and heavier

then finally the sun began to set

the winter threatened at the door

the mountains seemed bigger

and the journey suddenly lost its excitement

then like a little flame trying to stay alive

we found a paradise to hide away and find the sparkle

the seeds were sewn

and something beautiful was growing

a baby, a little piece of both

then the sun truelly set as the news broke and the reaction was choked

it all seemed so unreal

that the ultimate expression of love could find such a sad seal

stamped with labels

wrong time

bad business

married

parents

obligations

and other infestations

the road was rocky, the road was steep

the tears poured down the cradle weeped

for there was love in the heart and soul

it was love that made two parts  whole and yet

It seemed to mean nothing

and everything all at once.
