Honestly speaking, there's beauty in the NOW

entry picture

She spoke to me about latent talents and past passions.

And then apologized.

She related stories of how she won medals and won hearts.

And then she apologised.

As the night got older I coaxed her to remove the barriers

that hinder her from her own achievements, her own greatness.

Saying to her as her curiosness  drew closer “If you want to be trusted and loved – be honest.”

That touched here. Bit by bit she began to uncover her true greatness,

finally taking it all off and exposing her naked emotions.

Revealing the wonders of a fertile mind that connected with mine.

And there we stayed, just being present in the Now. Totally liberated.

Because that’s all we have. The NOW.

I also love that it stays with the whole person and doesn't dissolve into just the physical

Thank you Colin and Laura.
There's nothing like the Power of the Present eh.

Be blessed.

Oh I love this. I love that it doesn't just slip into the usual physicality, that it stays on the cerebral and emotional level. And I couldn't agree more with the sentiment.

Cheers Col. Haven't read Ray's R&J. Let me check it out.

Classic Raj poetry. There is a corner of WoL that only your words can fill.

As a cheeky afterthought I wondered if Ray's recently posted 'Romeo and Juliet In Real Time' could be appended to this?
