The swirling winds of change

entry picture

She came to me with a flourish

pounding on my widows and banging at the door,

not to mention the eerie whistling through the letterbox.

Further afield she kept on howling,

uprooting the old beech across the farm.

Why the fury? I asked her.

Her response came in the shape of a twisted shed roof.

Not satisfied she switched off my lights.

Being left in the dark

leaves a lot of unanswered questions.

“I’m Doris” she screamed as disappeared with the swirling winds.

◄ When my inner voice speaks, I listen.

Ooh I was so addicted to you. ►

Loved this piece Raj...It reminded of Juvia from this anime called Fairy Tail. Juvia is a lady that controls water and she can work up quite a storm....Thanks for sharing.

Chaktari,
She was doing this outside my ward window as I was `enjoying` an unexpected couple of days stay.

But it was all a lot of - not hot - but cold air.

(she didn`t `get` me...at least not this time ?)

(well celebrated)

Thanks Paul and Tommy. Gald you both enjoyed that.
Doris has quietened down since. We have kissed and made up.

Nice work Raj,

And that Doris, eh? How nasty, pounding on your widows, whatever did they do to deserve that? ??
