They’re black and shiny, and they fit,

And match most of my clothes,

So when I’m dressed in my best kit

My footwear really goes.

 

They’re multi purpose, versatile,

I wear them every day,

And some day they’ll be back in style,

When I am old and grey.

 

I’ll handle them with loving care,

And wear them till they rot,

But until then I’ll always wear

The only shoes I’ve got.
