mood of the artist

art from the heart

the beauty of landscape

laid bare

to see

revealing fear

shed the bones

of mind

and the flesh of magic heals

comedy of terror steals

the embrace of

silent noise

swimming in colour

we pluck

from the tree of other

hands moving in time

to the song of whim

and transpires manifest

giving birth to origin

of now

and then

in between

peace and joy

rains down

the slopes of beneath

our reign of ploys

breathing dreams

into our realm

of subjection

of silent smile

and quiet ruse

we rush to engage

deception of change

like a leaf fallen

to the soft ground rising

the way is shown

this is a nice piece of writing that will resonate with a lot of people on here. i, like randall, would enjoy this read live.

This is an interesting piece. I think it would work very well in a spoken-word format. The flavor of the poem, salted liberally by the title, is a great taste of the artist's mind and artistic aspiration. Well done.
