My mind’s frozen.
My thoughts seem to control me. I’m anxious, afraid.
Jekyll and Hyde arguing inside my head.
Wish my body and mind were worry-free precincts.
I need a solution. Like now.
Ah, how about I set my mind to a ‘stress-free time’?
Be my own therapist. Now we’re talking.
Here goes… deep breath, stay in the moment and accept my anxious period.
The trick is I don’t struggle with anxiety but observe it.
Stay in the moment. Surf the wave.
Till it peaks and ebbs.
