Just a man

By no means a just man

Washed ashore 

By a sea that denies him...

 

A prophet of the Lord

Sent with a fiery message

But he knows it's not for condemnation

His words bring conviction

Conviction brings holy sorrow

Holly sorrow bring repentance

Repentance avert God's wrath 

 

So even though he proclaims

In 40 days Nineveh shall be overthrown 

Oh, he knows

The people will not fall like Sodom 

This displeased Jonah exceedingly and he was angry
