I was born this way,
I did not ask to be
as I am, so remember this;

I am not the one that
stole you from your lands
or took that which did not
belong to me. I am not the one who
brought you to this place
or destroyed your sacred space.
I am not the one that
raped your mothers
and daughters.
I am not the one that
killed your fathers,
brothers or sons.
I am not the one
that brought plague
or pestilence to
lands without sin.
I love all that
God has made,
indeed every
color and every

So when you look
upon me remember
I am not the one,
see me and judge me for
