Poets are being offered the chance to take part in a special event at a guitar weekend at Manchester’s Bridgewater Hall. Poets who would like to read a poem of their own, either inspired by the guitar or the lyrics to an imaginary song, should submit their ideas to popuppoetry@bridgewater-hall.co.uk, and a selection will be heard on the day. The event is free, and poetry lovers are invited to come along, whether they are taking part or not.
