Just Be. Here. Now.

Just Be. Here. Now.

Looking into the distance through my smoke rings  it occurred to me:

“It’s time we changed the way we change”.

Because the truth is, the only thing that’s permanent is change.

Doors open. And close.

People enter and leave.

Some move on and never come back.

Relationships forge.

Then expire.

Pictures fade. Memories don’t.

A new idea is born. A new friend is made.

Birth. Death. Born again.

Hey look a star has just shot across the dark sky. Damn, missed it.

Missed the moment.

This moment opens the doors to all other moments.“Embrace the power of the present,” I said.

Amen to that. I kind of like the reliability of change.

Really enjoyed this - simple, concise, to the point, about the single most influential concept in our lives, and the thing that people fear the most.

“It’s time we changed the way we change”. It really is.

Great poem. Yes the present is important. People come and go. Some return. Some are important for a season, some a lifetime. The past can be a teacher, the future a guide. Hold on tight! Enjoy the ride. My reiki master says change is constant. But a door is different to a wall, doors can be locked bolted, left ajar, opened when needed. Too many people have walls around them or draw bridges . Zen proverb, let go or be dragged. X I Like your style
