In the hall 17/02/16

They stand in the large hall.

Square concrete slabs are rough and abbrasive.

Child falls.

Into stained floor of gum.

"Are you coming on saturday night?"

She is standing with her arms behind her back.

"Mummy" child yells.

She is playing the role of someone who works here.

Child yells "WAHH!".

"Oh so you are, it's your house."

"Ma'am."

She turns.

Child screams.

"Are you hurt?"

Everthing echoes back to her.

Stone transmits the sound.

She suddenly wakes up from her oblivian.

She turns again.

"Sorry."

She walks towards the child.

She holds her hand out for the child.

The child takes her hand and stands up.

The child has a graze on their knee.

She sees the cotton ball stuck in the floor.

It's now grey.

It has dirt stuck in it.

A brown strand of hair.

"Rub it off."

They do.

They continue to look around.

All the while she's watching the child.
